HARMAN technology Limited will offer exclusive discounted prices to attendees of the 26th annual Photo Plus International Conference and Expo at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on October 22 - 24.

The leading photo-imaging specialist is again showcasing its ILFORD PHOTO and Kentmere Photographic traditional black and white photography products alongside the full range of HARMAN PHOTO photographic inkjet media at booth #448. As their exclusive distributor for the USA, HARMAN technology is also displaying Paterson darkroom equipment.

Photographers shooting film will be excited to see that HARMAN is partnering with Lomographic Society USA to demonstrate their special line of film cameras at the booth. Visitors will be able to take advantage of special Photo Plus pricing on Kentmere Photographic ISO 100 & 400 films (24 and 36 exposure) which will be available for purchase at the Lomographic Society USA booth.

For traditional black and white photographers, ILFORD PHOTO’s product experts will also be on hand to offer advice and show examples of exceptional mono photography from Jeff Dunas, Kim Du Boise, Dennis Keeley, Karen Kuehn, Dave Butcher and Andrew Sanderson.

Steven Brierley, Marketing Director at HARMAN technology commented:
“Photo Plus is always an exciting and eventful exhibition, and it’s great to play a part in it again this year. Whether you are a film or digital photographer, our booth has something to offer you – from technical insights and amazing imagery to exclusive show pricing on several of our products.”

For the first time ever, photographers will be able to test out the entire range of HARMAN PHOTO FB and HARMAN CRYSTALJET RC inkjet papers together in a promotional cost saving sample pack available at the booth, comprising three sheets each of all six papers.

In addition to the highly acclaimed HARMAN PHOTO Fiber Baryta papers, HARMAN CRYSTALJET RC Glossy and Luster papers will be demonstrated and offered at a very special discount throughout the show.

The company’s strong connections with photo education are clearly apparent with portfolios of inkjet prints on show from leading schools of photography including the School of Visual Arts, New York City, the Antonelli School of Photography in Erdenheim, Pennsylvania and Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California.

Steven Brierley added:
“For us, Photo Plus is about strengthening our connection with every corner of the photography community, from students, hobbyists, commercial and fine art photographers to professional photolabs and dealers. The HARMAN CRYSTALJET RC paper has a specific resonance with students looking for cost-effective quality, so we wanted to ensure it was showcased with authentic student images from schools and colleges across America.

HARMAN technology Limited is a pioneering imaging specialist based in Mobberley, Cheshire. The company - which was born of the ILFORD formed by Alfred Harman in 1879 - now includes three, separate and well known brands: ILFORD PHOTO which manufactures traditional monochrome photographic products; HARMAN PHOTO which produces a range of high-end inkjet media for both colour and monochrome prints; and Kentmere Photographic who produce a range of photography and inkjet papers, including K.Opaljet.

The ILFORD range of inkjet products, including ‘ILFORD Galerie’, is not associated with HARMAN technology in any way, and is actually manufactured and marketed by a separate business based in Switzerland.
