Attention citizen journalists and bloggers: Lowepro unveils a new backpack and messenger bag featuring dedicated spaces for a camera, laptop and essential personal electronics, and designed to help keep you connected while you're on the move.
Dedicated spaces in both backpack and messenger bag provide protective storage for a compact DSLR, up to 15.6″ laptop, plus key accessories such as a cell phone, MP3 player, portable hard drive, USB and a number of personal items. Compartments are lined in highly visible burnt orange to designate storage space and help keep gear organized and accessible.
An adjust-to-fit, padded camera chamber holds a compact DSLR securely in the main compartment and adjusts to a snug fit via the attached cinch strap. When the camera is removed, the chamber may be collapsed and cinched in place to create even more storage space in the backpack or messenger bag.
Hassle-free camera access is a key component of the CompuDay Photo series' design. A convenient zippered pocket allows fast and easy access to a compact DSLR from the side—a comfortable position to grab and shoot while on the move with the backpack or messenger bag.
"We thought of the citizen journalist and avid blogger when we designed the CompuDay Photo series," said Treg Tyler, Lowepro worldwide director of marketing. "Imagine a day-in-the-life of a technology-connected person: he grabs an impromptu image, downloads it to his laptop, uploads it to his blog and creates a new post, then calls a friend to have her view it. This series is made to enhance those types of activities, protect one's hardware investments and offer ample storage for personal items," he added.
Additional features of both bags include: a mesh-covered trolley sleeve to attach to luggage; multiple organization pockets to store accessories, documents and personal items; a removable accessory pouch for power cords or other items; a stretch-mesh side pocket for a water bottle; a quick-grab handle; and a lightly padded, mesh-covered backpad (back panel on messenger bag) to help wick away moisture.
The CompuDay Photo 250 backpack features a SlipLock™ loop on each shoulder strap to attach any SlipLock™ compatible case or pouch; and a rain-flap lid to provide extra protection from moisture.
Distinctive features of the CompuDay Photo 150 messenger bag are: under-the-flap rain gussets to help protect main compartment from moisture when fully closed; and quick-release buckles.
The CompuDay Photo 250 and CompuDay Photo 150 are available in Black. For more information on this series and other products, please contact Lowepro or visit www.lowepro.com
