Duggal to Offer Kodak Pro Media

Duggal Visual Solutions to Offer New KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA EP Media and KODAK PROFESSIONAL UV-Curable Display Film-Plus as Part of its Media Portfolio

New York, NY, June 27, 2011 – Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) today announced that Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc., renowned supplier of printing, computer imaging, wide format graphics and display services, will offer its KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA EP Media to print photobooks and KODAK PROFESSIONAL UV-Curable Display Film-Plus for wide-format display products. Duggal cited that Kodak’s professional papers matched its clients’ quality conscious printing needs as the primary reason for selecting these papers.  Duggal showcased sample products made with Kodak media at its recent celebration of servicing the industry for more than 45 years.

"The new ENDURA EP paper from Kodak allows our digital press prints to have a near photographic quality. It’s perfect for our photo books,” said Michael Duggal, CEO of Duggal Visual Solutions. “Also, for our quality-conscious clientele, we found the new UV-Curable Display Film-Plus is the perfect solution for high-quality UV backlit prints.”

“We’re thrilled to have Duggal, one of the leading providers of point of sale and visual merchandising solutions, adopt our newest imaging media,” said Christopher S. Van Zandt, Vice President & General Manager, Paper & Output Systems, Americas Region, FPEG, Eastman Kodak Company. “Congratulations to the entire Duggal team as it celebrates more than 45 years in business.”

KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA EP Papers, introduced earlier this year, utilize proprietary E-surface technology to create high-quality, photo-grade media for EP presses, offering the look, feel and surface of photographic paper. Also, because it can be printed on both sides, KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA EP Media expands the capabilities of a digital press to include look books, portfolios or other duplex applications requiring photo quality output. This photo quality also enables businesses to intermix media output from silver-halide printers and digital presses to expand the potential portfolio of photo offerings.

At the event, guests received one of three photo books printed on KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA EP Paper.
  • Duggal Customer Book (www.duggal.com): A book featuring a year of photos from some of the exciting projects Duggal has worked on this year.
  • Coney Island Project, Craig Blankenhorn (www.blankenhornphoto.com): Throughout all the years of metamorphosis on the iconic peninsula, Coney Island has remained a timeless destination for all. This project is a comprehensive photographic archive of Brooklyn's faces during yet another summer in the fluctuating lifespan of this landmark.
•     Washington Heights Book Project, NYC Salt (www.nycsalt.org): NYC SALT is a non-profit photography program serving inner city teenagers in Washington Heights and the East Village. It engages, inspires and empowers teens through professionally led after-school classes that not only teach the art, but also the business of photography. In the Washington Heights Project, students used street photography to learn how to tell a story about their neighborhood using their own voice.

KODAK PROFESSIONAL UV-Curable Display Film-Plus, as well as KODAK PROFESSIONAL UV-Curable Display Paper, enable the creation of cost-effective, high-impact displays. This fast and low-cost alternative to traditional display materials is ideal for point-of-sale and advertising, especially in high-traffic applications. These media provide exceptional clarity, consistency and quality for maximum productivity and retail impact.
