Curious Critters by Sigma Pro David FitzSimmons is a Photographic Delight
Sigma Pro photographer David FitzSimmons has recently published a photographic wonder aimed at children ages 4-8. Curious Critters features stunning animal photography with humorous prose, as well as useful facts about the various critters featured in it's pages.
Shot entirely with Sigma lenses, the images on these pages will interest and delight both children and adults with their brilliance and beauty. On the website dedicated to the book (www.curious-critters.com) David provides information on the equipment used for each shot and a general discussion of lighting and staging techniques used throughout the book.
The photography isn't the only great part of this book. The witty prose, spoken from the viewpoint of the featured critter, will entertain all ages. The material in the back of the book contains a brief natural history for each featured animal, a life-sized silhouette challenge game with answers, and a glossary.
