In 2011 the Hasselblad HTS1.5/ Tilt/Shift adapter was removed from the U.S. market only pending litigation involving a patent infringement claim. Hasselblad is pleased to announce that the legal process has been concluded in favor of Hasselblad. As a result the HTS1.5 Tilt/Shift adapter is immediately available for purchase in the U.S. market. Hasselblad Bron, Inc. President and CEO Michael Hejtmanek commented
“Today was a good day for Hasselblad and for photographers across the United States. The courts have decided that the patent infringement lawsuit preventing the sale of the Hasselblad Tilt Shift Adapter (HTS) is without merit. We are really excited to again be able to provide selective focus and perspective capabilities with the HTS adapter. We think that this adapter is an important component in the toolkit of any product, architectural, or landscape photographer. We are proud of our innovative R&D team and are happy that the courts sided with Hasselblad on this issue.”
