Nikon introduces nine new COOLPIX cameras

Today, Nikon introduced nine new COOLPIX digital cameras with features and controls that will appeal to a variety of users, from the casual shooter to the advanced photographer looking for a compact companion. Some highlights include the COOLPIX P510 with an astounding 24mm-1,000mm zoom range, a camera possible only from a company with so many decades of optics expertise. The Nikon COOLPIX S30 is a new type of camera from Nikon featuring worry-proof construction fit for the whole family.

Highlights of the COOLPIX P510 include:
·         A staggering 42x Wide-Angle Zoom-NIKKOR Glass Lens (24-1000mm) with advanced optical VR image stabilization

TAMRON ANNOUNCES "MY WINTER EXHIBIT" PHOTO CONTEST

Commack, N.Y., February 1, 2012 - Tamron USA announces "My Winter Exhibit" photo contest offered exclusively to Tamron USA lens users. Entrants will create a 3D virtual exhibit showcasing 8-14 of their best images in all winter theme. Professional photographer and instructor, André Costantini will judge the contest and choose the winning exhibit based on overall image quality and originality of the collection. The winning exhibit will be featured on the Tamron USA website and Tamron eNewsletter. The winner will also receive his/her choice of one of five Tamron lenses: 18-270mm Di II VC PZD 15X All-in-One Zoom Lens (model B008); SP 17-50mm F/2.8 Di II VC (model B005); SP 70-300mm Di VC USD (model A005); SP 60mm F/2.0 Di II 1:1 Macro (model G005); or 18-200mm Di III VC for Sony E-Mount (model B011).
