At the expo, Fujifilm will showcase several new products including the FUJIFILM X-E3 ultra-compact mirrorless camera, and the FUJINON XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro and FUJINON GF45mmF2.8 R WR lenses. Fujifilm is also excited to announce that the new, INSTAX SHARE SP-3 SQ square format printer, will be on exhibit in addition to the INSTAX® SQUARE SQ10 camera. The FRONTIER-S DX100 printer will also be featured at the booth with on-site demonstrations of event photography and printing.

Dozens of New Products at PhotoPlus Expo 2017

Dozens of new products including cameras, lenses, lighting gear, software, and accessories will make their debut at the annual PhotoPlus Conference + Expo this week. PhotoPlus is the largest photography Expo in North America, attracting hundreds of leading manufacturers and more than 20,000 attendees from around the world. In addition to new products, attendees will be able to participate in special booth events hosted by exhibitors throughout the Expo including free lectures from renowned photographers and educators and live product demonstrations. Many exhibitors will preview their new products at the annual Test Drive event on Wednesday evening, October 25th before the show officially opens the next day. Test Drive is the best way to check out what’s new before thousands descend on the Jacob Javits Center for the official start of the Expo. Test Drive is free to everyone with a PhotoPlus Expo badge.

DxO Acquires Nik Collection Assets From Google

Continued development of the Collection for the benefit of the photographer community planned.

DxO, one of the most innovative companies in consumer imaging, today announces the acquisition of the Nik Collection assets from Google. DxO plans to continue development of the Nik Collection. The current version will remain available for free on DxO’s dedicated website, while a new version is planned for mid-2018.

New Full-frame Sony α7R III

With 42.4MP, 10fps and fast AF  and a price point of $3200 this puts a direct challenge on the New Nikon D850 and the latest Canon 5d for the pro shooter/video market below the top of the line "pro" bodies. 
Between this, the new lenses just announced and the a9 Sony has firmly planted itself as one of the top 3 camera companies. Amazing to remember their take over of Minolta years ago would lead to this. Hopefully we will get a hands on with this at PPE tomorrow!
