ZEISS SHOWCASES NEW BATIS 2/40CF LENSES
AND INTRODUCES THE NEW GENERATION ZX1
CAMERA
(HAWTHORNE, New York – October
23, 2018) – ZEISS is
exhibiting stunning new products at PhotoPlus Expo in New York City from
Thursday, October 25th through Saturday, October 27th,
2018. ZEISS will be showcasing a new member of the Batis family of lenses, the
Batis 2/40CF, and their new generation ZX1 camera at Booth #1029.
The Batis family of lenses have a
longstanding reputation of being lightweight with fast autofocus and close
focusing distance. The ZEISS Batis autofocus lenses are specially developed for
mirrorless, full-frame sensor cameras from Sony. ZEISS’ new Batis 2/40 CF has a
40-millimeter fixed focal length, making it ideal for close-ups. In addition,
its close focusing distance of just 24 centimeters (9.4 inches), combined with
its moderate wide-angle imaging the Close Focus lens (CF) is incomparable for
varying landscapes. Additionally, the high micro contrast and initial aperture
of f/2 can perfectly depict individual objects.
