Nik Software and Mac OS X 10.7 Compatibility

Apple is expected to release the latest version of Mac OS X, version 10.7 Lion, sometime this month. We've been working with developer release versions and want to notify you that we've found an issue installing some of our plug-ins into Photoshop CS5 after you've updated to Lion.
If you have already installed your Nik Software plug-ins into Photoshop CS5 prior to updating to Lion, the plug-ins will continue to work without issue. There are also no issues installing our plug-ins into Lightroom or Aperture on a Mac running OS 10.7 Lion and no issues installing HDR Efex Pro into any host application.
However, the current installers for Dfine 2.0, Viveza 2, Color Efex Pro 3.0, Silver Efex Pro 2, and Sharpener Pro 3.0 are not able to install into Photoshop CS5 on a Mac running OS 10.7 Lion. This issue will affect both new and re-installations of these plug-ins.
Our engineers have already begun working on a fix for the installers and we intend to start releasing these free updates this month. Each update will be released in succession, starting with Silver Efex Pro 2 and we will notify registered owners via email.
If you do find yourself needing assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our support team. Thank you for your continued support!
The Nik Team

Update: Lion compatibility for X-Rite color solutions

Are You Ready for Mac OS X Lion?
Check Out the X-Rite Software Compatibility Guide
Apple recently announced that the new Mac OSX 10.7 Lion will no longer support software that relies on Rosetta. This directly affects X-Rite's retired i1Match, ProfileMaker and MonacoPROFILER applications.
While we recognize there may be some workarounds for you like creating a dual-boot Mac, this is not ideal for most users that want to upgrade to Lion. Therefore, X-Rite is providing its customers with upgrade paths so you can continue using X-Rite imaging solutions on Lion.
Visit one of our websites to find your solution, its compatibility with the new Mac OSX 10.7 and upgrade options if needed.
Thank you for your continued support to make X-Rite the leading brand in color management solutions.

Hasselblad announces a firmware update that fine-tunes the H4D-60 to a whole new level with additional features and functionality.

With a major firmware update announced today, the Hasselblad H4D-60 is well on its way to becoming a legend. One-click focus check, bi-directional electronic spirit level, the ability to display camera grip information on the rear monitor, an improved high resolution LCD, Live Video for more efficient workflow and Schneider and Rollei support bring the H4D-60 to a whole new level of usability for the working photographer.

Here's a closer look at a few of the new features.

One-click focus check: With a single click, users can zoom in to 100% to check focus position and accuracy, a feature that's particularly helpful when shooting untethered. With the H4D-60's updated ability to utilize every pixel of resolution in its 3-inch monitor, one-click focus check's accuracy is further enhanced.

The new bi-directional (pitch and roll) digital spirit level puts an end to skewed horizons and off-angle straight edges. A single button press of the "i" button - or a customized user button - calls up the level on the viewfinder and the LCD for quick access to precise visual references.
